The blame goes around, but the bulk falls on Maddon, especially his handling of the starting pitchers. I've always felt he pulls them too quickly. If we had a dependable bullpen maybe what he does would work but we don't. So why pull Hendricks after 7 innings and throwing only 77 pitches and let the bullpen blow it as they usually do. It just doesn't make sense. Sometimes you have to win today's game and not look too far ahead. It has been a dreadful scenario for a long time. Many games on the road that could have, should have been won, and that falls on the manager.

I am mystified. Nick Costellanas (sp). is in right field. I go to the kitchen or get a phone call, or some other interruption, and I come back and someone else is in right field. I think he is a heck of a defensive fielder, and we know he can hit. This had happened many time since he joined the Cubs. I don't get it. Usually his replacement couldn't carry his shoes. What gives?
